Daniel and Amelie organized with 4 of our students (Liam, Simon, Luka and Mante) a 6-day sailing school on the yacht Kalimba in the port of Sines. We anchored in the bay of Sines – cooking, living, sleeping, learning, playing – everything took place on board. We had theoretical lessons in the morning and in the afternoon practical sailing school on two Laser sailing dinghies. Those who wanted to go ashore took our rowing dinghy. One of the last days we sailed out into the ocean with the Kalimba. Docking and casting off with a yacht, setting sails, safety on board….. were further lessons. Even though some of us got seasick on our day trip, our encounter with the dolphins was one of the highlights of the whole time.
