Direction Lisboa!

For 2 days in March, the older students of the Escola da Esperança project went on a trip to Lisbon with their teachers Mafalda, Benjamin and Juliane. On the 24th, at 8:45 a.m., they met in Tamera and then went to Lisbon in the bus of our homeschooling group. When they arrived, they visited the exhibition about the importance of water in the Pavilion of Knowledge. Then they went to the jumpyard to jump on the giant trampolines for two hours. They had dinner at a small restaurant called Pão Pão Queijo Queijo. When they got to the hostel, the first thing they wanted to do was to have a shower, but the boys forgot to bring shampoo, so they had to borrow it from the girls.
Everyone really enjoyed staying up late playing games and chatting.
The next day, after breakfast, the students participated in the “Fridays for future” demonstration, where they joined a large group of other young people demanding a better future for the planet.
Then they ate a pizza at a restaurant and went to the São Jorge cinema to see one of the animated films from the Monstrinha festival. The afternoon ended with a vegan ice cream at Scoop n’ dough.
It was already evening when they arrived back home. They arrived tired, but very happy with everything they had experienced during these two days.
