This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Tamera collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the http://www.tamera.org website (“Site”).

The Owner collects personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our Site, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.

In addition to the Owner, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of this Site (administration, finance, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Owner. The Data is processed at the Owner’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located.

Retention Time
Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for.

- Personal Data collected for the purposes of the Owner’s legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes. The data concerning the User is collected to allow the Owner to provide its services, as well as for the following purposes:

- To personalize user experience: We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.

- Contacting the User and displaying content from external platforms

- Handling payments
- The Owner uses third-party tools for its payment processing and is not connected with any of the provided payment information – such as credit card details – in any way.
- Analytics/Statistics
- Creating a Global Network and Tracking the History of the Project
- For these aims, we are keeping data from our friends, guests and participants since 1995 and we intend to keep and process all the data from Users that have given us their consent to do so, as long as such consent is not withdrawn.
Cookie Policy
Despite the fact that the Owner doesn’t use or store personally identifying Cookies that include personal data, the Site uses Google Analytics, which is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of this Website, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. The Owner doesn’t provide advertising on the Site, however Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads in its own advertising network.
Sharing of Personal Data with Third Parties
The Owner doesn’t share, sell, trade or rent Users personal identification information to others – exception is made only for partner entities which are directly part of Tamera and only when this data is mandatory for providing services (for example, for invoicing or insurance purposes).
Nevertheless, we may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.
We may, as well, share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our partners and trusted affiliates for the purposes outlined above.
The Rights of Users
Users may exercise certain rights regarding their data processed by the Owner.
In particular, Users have the right to do the following:
